Crazy Picture Guy reflections
Posted March 4th, 2008

The Innovation@Work! Radio Show with Winston Edmondson has been filled with a host of politicians and celebrities during my time in the studio. Two Saturdays past was the Ultimate Entertainment Show, which, in my humble opinion, was the best show with the most cool people packed into one room to date. This past Saturday's show, however, has been the most exciting show I've ever seen. There was a very heated political debate between Misty, an Obama campaign worker, Elizabeth Stewart, and Winston Edmondson, who literally tore Barack Obama apart every chance he got. Winston is admittedly very conservative, and Elizabeth, although she denies being Liberal, plays devil's advocate and really got the shows blood pumping this weekend! She knew just what to say to get Winston to speak his mind, and speak his mind he did. Winston became animated in both his voice and body language as he and Elizabeth attacked each other over the Radio airwaves Saturday. This made for some of the most exciting radio action to see in person, and the most exciting political debate on the show to date. Crazy Picture Guy (CPG) simply couldn't tear his ears away from the Biz Radio show this weekend, nor his eyes for that matter! CPG has been with the show since January, and after this weekends powerhouse political debate, CPG hopes to be on it for a long time to come. This show is like an education, with teeth. Crazy Picture Guy was bitten by the Innovation@Work! bug on Saturday and can't wait to see what happens next.

Checkout Microsoft Surface

Randy DeWitt, the founder of Rockfish Seafood Grill, stopped by the Innovation@Work! Radio Show not too long ago. In an exclusive on air interview, he filled us in on the innovative history of the restaurant, including the birth of Twin Peaks, an offspring of sorts. I'd love to see Rockfish invest in Microsoft Surface technology. Imagine enjoying a meal while sharing photos and videos right there on the surface of the table. The table could feature a touch screen menu, allowing you to order at any time. What other possibilities can you think of for Microsoft's multi-touch table? Email me with your ideas.

Benjamin Franklin: Innovator

Refused to patent his Franklin Stove, saying, "As we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously."

IDEAL IMAGE: Black Week

I'm not a big fan of Black History Month (how were they able to make sure that all the historic achievements happened in February?), but I am pretty excited about Black Week from Ideal Image. Check it out!
